ISU evaluation criteria changes (adaptations for children/youth categories):

1. Athletes cannot move from A-class to B-class during the season. In case of rule violation, the club will be deprived of support for young athletes.
2. Evaluation criteria are provided in ISU Comm. 2788, 2786, TPHB 2026/2027 and related addenda.
3. Program duration – for each excess or missing up to 5 seconds, a penalty of 0.5 points.
4. Late start of the program -0.5 points
5. Interruptions in the program: For each interruption that is:

• 10 to 20 seconds: -0.5
• 20 to 30 seconds: -1.0
• 30 to 40 seconds: -1.5 Allowing an interruption of up to 3 minutes, with continuation from the interruption point – 2.5 points/program

6. Prohibited elements: salto-type jumps -2.0 points
7. In the free program, there is no provision for a 1.1 factor for jump elements performed in the second half of the program.
8. Protest A protest must be submitted to the category referee in writing and within the time limit (ISU Competition-and-Event-Regulations, Rule 15.1). If the referee is not available, the protest must be submitted to the organizing committee with a request to forward it to the referee. A protest cannot be filed against the opinions of referees, judges, and the technical panel (technical controller, technical specialists) regarding the athlete's performance. A protest regarding incorrect mathematical calculation will be accepted no later than 24 hours after the awarding of the respective competition. Errors in identifying an element or determining its level, although they result in a decrease or increase in the point total, do not fall under the concept of "mathematical calculation error" or incorrectly entered element(s).

2026/20275 / 11 Estonian Skating Union In the case of an incorrectly entered element, all members of the technical panel (technical controller, both technical specialists, and data operator) must agree to correct the error. The recording made by the competition organizers will be taken into account. The referee has the right and obligation to correct errors themselves, even if no protest is filed. This can be done in two cases:

1. before the awarding, when the data entry operator has made an incorrect entry, and
2. within 24 hours after the awarding, when an incorrect mathematical calculation is discovered. In both cases, the controller and both specialists must agree that the error actually existed. If the correction changes the final standings, the medals and prizes must also be redistributed. The referee must make a written note of such a situation. All protests (except for incorrect mathematical calculation) must be submitted no later than 30 minutes after the end of the respective segment. A protest can only be filed by the athlete or the accredited team leader or, with their consent, members of the competition organizing committee or clubs that have entered the competitor. The cost of filing a protest is 50€ and it must be paid together with the submission of the protest. If the protest is resolved positively, the money will be refunded. Otherwise, the protest fee will remain with the competition organizers.
3. At EUL calendar and title events, athletes are allowed to participate in higher categories if their skills meet the technical requirements of the given category.
