2023/2024 CUBS B 2013/2014 (Beginners III B): Free skating 2:30 min. +/-10 sec. Free skating requirements (for both boys and girls): a) max. 4 jump elements, of which i) max. two (2) jump combinations or one jump combination and one jump sequence. Combinations and sequences can consist of only two jumps. In jump sequences, the second jump must be an Axel-type jump, i.e., with entry directly from the first jump's landing curve to the Axel's takeoff curve. (Jumps performed in sequences receive full value.) ii) 1A and one (1) 2x jump are allowed in the program up to two times. iii) 2F and 2Lz are not allowed. b) max. 2 different spins, of which i) one (1) spin combination with a foot change (min. three (3) rotations on each foot) or without a foot change (min. six (6) rotations in total) and ii) one (1) position change spin with a foot change (min. three (3) rotations on each foot) or without a foot change (min. six (6) rotations in total).   3. Program duration – every additional 5 seconds is penalized with 0.5 points.
  4. Fall – penalty of 0.5 points.
  5. Interruptions in the program: Every interruption that is:
  • 10 to 20 seconds: - 0.5
  • 20 to 30 seconds: - 1.0
  • 30 to 40 seconds: - 1.5 Interruption is allowed up to 3 minutes, with continuation from the interruption point – 2.5 p/program
  1. Costume part or decoration falls on the ice: -0.5
  2. Costume/requisit rules violation -0.5
  3. Late start: -0.5
  4. Free skating does not have a bonus for jump elements performed in the second part.
  5. Protest can be submitted no later than 24 hours after the announcement of the competition results. Protest can be submitted if there are arithmetic errors in the protocol. Errors in element identification or level assignment, although they affect the point total, do not fall under the concept of "arithmetic errors" or incorrectly entered elements. In the case of an incorrectly entered element, all technical panel members (Technical Controller, both Technical Specialists, and Data Operator) must agree to correct the error. The recording made by the competition organizers is taken into account. The cost of submitting a protest is 50€ and must be paid together with the submission of the protest. The protest must be submitted to the category referee in written form. If the referee is not available, the protest must be submitted via email to the competition secretariat, which will forward it to the referee. (ISU Rule 123).
  6. In EUL calendar and title competitions, athletes are allowed to participate in higher categories if their skills meet the technical requirements of the given category.
  7. Warm-up time is 4 minutes, and the warm-up group can have up to 10 competitors.

2023/2024 NOVICE B free skating program 3:00 +/- 10 seconds. Age requirements: before July 1 of the current season

  • have turned 10 years old
  • have not turned 15 years old Free skating program requirements (for both boys and girls): a) max. 5 jump elements, of which i) one (1) must be an Axel-type jump. ii) max. two (2) jump combinations or one jump combination and one jump sequence. Combinations and sequences may consist of only two jumps.
