The components to be evaluated are: ● Skating skills (skating ability) ● Performance (performance) The component factor is 2.5. In all elements for which levels are assigned, only features up to level 2 are taken into account. ISU system evaluation criteria changes (adaptations for children/youth categories):

  1. Evaluation criteria are ISU Comm. 2254 and related addenda.
  2. All 1x and 2x jumps (including 1A) cannot be performed more than two times in the program.
  3. Program duration – every 5 seconds exceeded will result in a 0.5-point penalty.
  4. Fall – 0.5-point penalty.
  5. Interruptions in the program: Every interruption that is:
  • 10 to 20 seconds: -0.5
  • 20 to 30 seconds: -1.0
  • 30 to 40 seconds: -1.5 Interruption allowed up to 3 minutes, with continuation from the point of interruption – 2.5 p/program
  1. In the free skating program, there is no bonus for jump elements performed in the second part.
  2. A protest can be filed no later than 24 hours after the announcement of the competition results. A protest can be filed if there are arithmetic errors in the protocol. Errors in element identification or level determination, although they result in a change in the point total, do not fall under the concept of "arithmetic errors" or incorrectly entered elements. In the case of an incorrectly entered element, all members of the technical panel (Technical Controller, both Technical Specialists, and Data Operator) must agree to correct the error. The recording made by the competition organizers will be taken into account. The cost of filing a protest is 50€ and must be paid together with the protest. The protest must be filed in writing with the category referee. If the referee is not available, the protest must be filed by e-mail with the competition secretariat, which will forward it to the referee. (ISU Rule 123).
  3. At EUL calendar and title competitions, athletes are allowed to participate in higher categories if their skills meet the technical requirements of the given category.
  4. The warm-up time is 4 minutes, and the warm-up group can have up to 10 competitors.
